To reach Apsara Resort Koh Rong on Koh Rong Island, our guests usually travel to Sihanoukville, the nearest port town to Koh Rong Island.
From the ferry port, you need to reach Long Set Pier, where Apsara Resort staff can pick you up upon prior transfer booking

FROM CAMBODIA
From Siem Reap:
Option 1: Flight to Sihanoukville

Airport to Port Transfer: Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, take a taxi or tuk-tuk to the port (cost approx. $20).

Ferry to Koh Rong: Ferries operate from Sihanoukville Port to Long Set Beach on Koh Rong.
Option 2: Bus to Sihanoukville

Bus: Overnight buses from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville are available. For example, Olongpich Transport offers a "hotel bus" at 6:30 PM, arriving at 9:00 AM the next day. Ticket price is around $40.

Bus Station to Port Transfer: Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, take a taxi or tuk-tuk to the port (cost approx. $5–$10).

FROM THAILAND
From Bangkok:
Option 1: Flight to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap
Flight: Direct flights from Bangkok to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap are available with airlines such as Thai Airways and AirAsia.
Ticket prices start at approximately $100.
Further Travel: After arrival, choose one of the options listed above to reach Sihanoukville and then continue to Koh Rong.
Option 2: Bus to Sihanoukville
Bus: Buses from Bangkok to Sihanoukville are available, but the journey is long and can take over 20 hours.
Ticket prices start at approximately $40.
Ferry to Koh Rong: As above.
FROM VIETNAM
From Vietnam (Hanoi):
Option 1: Flight to Phnom Penh
Flight: Direct flights from Hanoi to Phnom Penh are available with airlines such as Vietnam Airlines.
Ticket prices start at approximately $150.
Further Travel: After arrival in Phnom Penh, choose one of the options listed above to reach Sihanoukville and then continue to Koh Rong.
Option 2: Bus to Sihanoukville
Bus: The bus journey from Hanoi to Sihanoukville is long and can take over 30 hours with multiple transfers.
